The Process
| Surface Preparation Surface preparation is vital to the long term success of the floor installation. Day 1: 1. The entire floor is degreased to remove any oily spots that are present. 2. The floor is acid washed with muratic acid and scrubbed with an industrial floor machine. 3. The acid is then neutralized and flushed from the floor. 4. The floor is now ready for surface repairs. Expansion joints are caulked, cracks repaired and pitted areas filled. 5. The floor is ready for the epoxy primer. Day 2: 1. The entire floor is scraped and inspected and ready for the final coat 2. The final coat is applied with anti-slip aggregate as needed. 3. The floor area is taped off wth yellow caution tape and left to dry to a beautiful glossy finish. |
